Convened by four Council on Library and Information Resources (CLIR) Post-Doctoral Fellows of Data Curation for Latin American and Caribbean Studies, the two-day symposium centered the voices of a group of institutions in Latin America and the Caribbean. The invited partners, guest panelists and keynote speakers shared strategies and identified areas of common need.
General Note:
In her keynote address, Dr. del Rio Riande focuses on opening the archive, that is to say making holdings and research open access. She also addresses the digital humanities and the role of collaboration in digital humanities projects.
