- Convened by four Council on Library and Information Resources (CLIR) Post-Doctoral Fellows of Data Curation for Latin American and Caribbean Studies, the two-day symposium centered the voices of a group of institutions in Latin America and the Caribbean. The invited partners, guest panelists and keynote speakers shared strategies and identified areas of common need.

- The Partners Panel, was the first of the symposium. Each of the invited partners introduced their organizations, discussed their work and the challenges they face. The first panel set the foundation for the two-day symposium.
