The Asia Map Collection defines Asia broadly to include the landmass of Eurasia lying east of Egypt's Suez Canal and east of the Ural Mountains, and south of the Caucasus Mountains and the Caspian and Black Seas, extending eastward to the Pacific Ocean and generally including the Pacific nations of Japan, the Philippines and the Indonesian archipelago.
