Celebrating Hispanic Heritage: Selections from the UF Digital Collections

EPHEMERA

The Ephemeral Collections within the University of Florida Digital Collections feature a wide selection of objects relating to Florida, the Caribbean, and the world. The recently added collection of Latin American film posters is of particular interest to film, costume, history, graphic design, and cultural scholars. Selections featured here include films from Cuba, Argentina, and Mexico. The poster for La Bella Otero prominently features María Felix, who is widely considered the star of Mexican Cinema. She later went on to receive international fame for her works in American and European film.
