dLOC Announces the 2014 Award Recipients

The success of the dLOC collaboration relies on the support and dedication of many exceptional people and institutions.  dLOC is privileged to acknowledge some of those who make this resource possible with these awards which were presented during the 2014 ACURIL Conference in Nassau, The Bahamas. 

dLOC Receives the ACURIL (Association of Caribbean Libraries) Alliances and Collaborative Projects in the Caribbean Award

On the celebration of the 10th Anniversary of collaborative work of Digital Library of the Caribbean (dLOC) in the region, the 2014 ACURIL Conference recognized the outstanding work of dLOC with the Albertina Pérez de Rosa Information Units Alliances and Collaborative Projects in the Caribbean.  This award recognizes and honors the excellent performance of alliance and collaborative efforts of local or regional information units and communities of practice, or by private enterprises, evidenced through the implementation of successful information projects for the benefit of their clienteles in the Caribbean.  Thank you for this very special recognition, ACURIL!
